Kathleen Christison wrote about this in 2002 in an article entitled "A Rose by Another Name The Bush Administrations Dual Loyalties" -- we placed it on our If Americans Knew website. This is a must-read. It was never a "war for oil it was always a war for Israel. And now the same groups are pushing for us to attack Iran...

I love Obama's CABINET member picks so far. When BUSH was asked to pick his CABINET, he couldn't decide between Maple, Oak or Pine. Dumb-shit! ~Joe Voter Obama ties with Ayers - 0 KILLED. Bush ties w/Iraq (after lies) - 4200+ KILLED.

Saddam and Bin Laden are/were natural enemies. Each was a threat to the other, and each would have killed the other given the chance.

pmango...what the hell are you talking about? The entire world watched the Bush cronies sell the WMD story to the United Nations and the world...it's the REASON we invaded. None found. All their backpedaling and changing of agenda didn't change the fact...there were NO WMD's in Iraq when we invaded, and there haven't been for years. Let's not forget that they NEVER would have had them, had the U.S. not SUPPLIED them in the first place.

pmango1000. "9-11 happened does that answer your question" i do realize 9-11 happened, i went to pace university, i was one block away when the towers fell. saddam using wmd's against the kurds,,,ok, are you willing to die because of that as an american, cause im not. and what is your definition of a terrorist? what terrorist did saddam fund? its been proven that saddam couldnt stand al qaeda.

ninetygnyc:9-11 happened does that answer your question? Whether Saddam played a part in 9-11 or not is not the debate...the debate is after a 9-11, is it wise to let Saddam stay in power since he has funded terrorists before, he was known to work with terrorists, and he used WMD on his own people.

Saddam possessing WMD were not the reason why we used military force to remove Saddam

True Johnny , but obviously you don't live in Texas. I am surrounded by people that think Bush is one of the best presidents that ever lived... I am not kidding. In order to put a limit to the pardon, people would have to be aware that there is something wrong with the current system. Many people just can't see past their own party. The world would be would be a better place if people didn't let labels (such as Dem or Rep) make their choices and do their thinking for them.

Let me pose this question then. Do you really think George Bush would have admitted that there had been a mistake in military inteligence if there was any chance that Iraq had WMDs at any recent time??? I don't either. Instead he would have at least been one of the many that used the cop out, "They must have moved them."

Those GOP bastards will just get pardoned by whatever Reptilians are still in office ... We need to put limits on the pardon, like "no pardoning your co-conspiritors".

McALLEN, Texas Vice President Dick Cheney and former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales have been indicted on state charges involving federal prisons in a South Texas county. Cheney is charged with engaging in an organized criminal activity related to his investment in the Vanguard Group, which holds financial interests in the private prison companies running the federal detention centers. It accuses Cheney of a conflict of interest and "at least misdemeanor assaults" on detainees.

Not to mention one missing/captured, 167 died of self-inflicted wounds, 144,003 U.S. wounded, over 8700 Iraqi security forces dead, and AT LEAST 85,000 Iraqi civilians dead. So Cheney, how many was Saddam worth again?
  22. Fonzell Said,

    December 3, 2008 @ 21:50:15

But for the 146 Americans killed in action, and for their families, it wasnt a cheap war. And the question for the president, in terms of whether we went on to Baghdad, took additional casualties in an effort to take down Saddam Hussein, was: how many additional dead Americans is Saddam worth? And our judgment was: not very many, and I think we got it right. Maybe he should have stuck to his initial judgment. This war: 4201 American military deaths, plus 314 other coalition soldiers.
